Federal Stafford Loans:
The Direct loan program offers 3 low interest loans that begin repayment six months from your last date of enrollment.

  • Direct Subsidized Loans -based on financial need. With a Direct Subsidized Loan, the federal government does not charge interest before repayment or during authorized periods of deferment.
  • Direct Unsubsidized Loans -not awarded on the basis of need. The federal government charges interest from the time the loan is paid out until the loan is paid in full.
