Admissions & Aid
From all of us at USTA, thank you for considering our school for your education! We are looking forward to having you in a future class. To get started with enrollment, you must meet the following criteria:
- Complete an application for enrollment
- Provide proof of secondary education
- – (copy of high school diploma, GED certificate, bachelor degree or high school transcript showing high school completion)
- Have graduated from high school or successfully completed the EQUIVALENT of twelfth grade
- Have evidence that verification of a foreign student’s high school diploma has been performed by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. HS diploma.
Ability-To-Benefit (ATB) students are not accepted for admission at the Academy.
- Age: applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the first day of class (for teacher programs, must be 18).
- Education: applicants must hold a high school diploma, high school transcripts of completion, or a GED certificate.
- For Teacher Programs: applicants must have a current license as a cosmetologist, esthetician.
Financial Aid
USTA students typically use a combination of options to create a payment plan that works for their financial circumstances. Below are some of the options we use to help make school more affordable to you.
