Admissions & Aid

From all of us at USTA, thank you for considering our school for your education! We are looking forward to having you in a future class. To get started with enrollment, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Complete an application for enrollment
  • Provide proof of secondary education
    • – (copy of high school diploma, GED certificate, bachelor degree or high school transcript showing high school completion)
  • Have graduated from high school or successfully completed the EQUIVALENT of twelfth grade
  • Have evidence that verification of a foreign student’s high school diploma has been performed by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. HS diploma.

Ability-To-Benefit (ATB) students are not accepted for admission at the Academy.

  • Age: applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the first day of class (for teacher programs, must be 18).
  • Education: applicants must hold a high school diploma, high school transcripts of completion, or a GED certificate.
  • For Teacher Programs: applicants must have a current license as a cosmetologist, esthetician.

Financial Aid
USTA students typically use a combination of options to create a payment plan that works for their financial circumstances. Below are some of the options we use to help make school more affordable to you.
